Who ever came up with calling her Angie. That way somebody desecrated an otherwise beautiful Stones song, by calling Merkel Angie. Margret Thatcher was called the Iron Lady, so why give her a Nickname like Angie and pretend it's the short version of Angela, which nobody has been calling her either. Her name has always been Die Merkel, which is a clear sign and expression of disgust. Calling something not soley by its name but with an article in front is an obvious sign of revulsion, especially if it's a woman which in this case is not completely clear in my eyes and has yet to be proven.
Is there anything else worth noticing about Die Merkel? Well she's still trying to become the first female german chancellor (female?). She will be most remembered for the political farce she and the previous chancellor (that piano kid from the peanuts) have inflicted upon us. (Forgot that Sixt ad/giving new meaning to "slug with a wig")

lustig find ich nur, dass die merkel jetzt quasi ein spd-kabinett regieren kann *lol* - passend zu ihrer mutter, die spd-mitglied ist.
aber mit der können wir uns noch auf was gefasst machen...
Hoffe mal, dass es so kommt wie CSU und SPD sagen und die Kanzelrin in dieser Regierung bei weitem nicht so viel zu sagen hat wie normalerweise! Aber glaub das geht auch gar nicht anders, wenn alle "großen" Ministerien der SPD gehören!

Merkel, finally a female leader out of Germany .
I keep hearing about the importance of leadership and how we need leaders, especially world leaders, in our modern societies. Just tune in CNN." Now more than ever" is what we keep hearing. What the hell does that mean?
I don't see that and I truly can't share the anglo saxon and especially the American fascination for the word leader. For the german equivalent means Führer and I bet by now all the German boys have shat their pants for me using that word. Does a self aware, socially skilled and grown person really need a Führer? (the language difference doesn't make leader any better) the only possible answer is no. So Germanys first female leader is something that makes me puke,
the word itself, apart from her looks- her fake smile, that frozen grin, everything she stands for.., but hey let's not judge a book by its cover. Let others do that.
