Wir sind auf der Themse immer mit einer Waterdraft von 2,6 gefahren und zwar mit einer Bounty 34 und hatten damit nie Probleme.
2,6 ist ein sehr gute Waterdraft.

ULE hatte früher 151 Fuß O.D und LLE 150 O.D. Selbst im trockensten Sommer 1976 sind wir mit einer Semaster 30 und einer U Schiene unter dem Kiel noch gut zurechtgekommen. Allerdings hatten wir nur 90 cm Waterdraft.
1,20 Meter Waterdraft ist einfach zu viel, dies haben wir schon auf anderen Wasserwegen festgestellt.
1 Meter ist IMO mein allerhöchstes Maximum. Wenn der Pegel am ULE unter 151 Fuß O.D. sank wurden eben früher die Lock Gates von Portora geschlossen.
Um alles zu kontrollieren. Die Schleusenoberkante vom Portora Lock hat 154 Fuß OD.
