Liebe Leser,

Auch die einheimischen Skipper wissen ganz genau, dass man nur die Flagge des Staates am Heck führen darf indem das Boot registriert ist.

Im Erne Guide II, habe ich da einige Regeln dazu festgehalten.

To wear the national flag as an ensign then either the vessel must be registered as an Irish ship, in which case the vessel acquires a nationality independent of that of its owner(s) - although most owners of Irish registered ships are Irish nationals or Irish companies. Alternatively a vessel that is not registered in any other country and is wholly owned by Irish nationals may wear the national flag (as its ensign).
