Zitat: George Lucas said Friday that filming of the long-awaited Indiana Jones 4 will begin next year with Harrison Ford set to star again. Lucas said he and Steven Spielberg recently finalized the script for the film.
"It's going to be fantastic. It's going to be the best one yet," the 62-year-old filmmaker said during a break from preparing for his duties as grand marshal of Monday's Rose Parade.
Exact film locations have not been decided yet, but Lucas said part of the movie will be shot in Los Angeles.
The fourth chapter of the "Indiana Jones" saga, which will hit theaters in May 2008, has been in development for over a decade with several screenwriters taking a crack at the script, but it only recently gained momentum.
Lucas kept mum about the plot, but said that the latest action flick will be a "character piece" that will include "very interesting mysteries."
"I think it's going to be really cool," Lucas said.
At the inaugural Rome Film Festival in October, the 64-year-old Ford said he was excited to team up with Lucas and Spielberg again for the fourth "Indiana Jones" installment. Ford said he was "fit to continue" to play the title role despite his age.http://comingsoon.net/films.php?id=4665

Itll probably take some cash to pull it off, but Im sure Spielberg and Lucas could round up a few bucks for Eastwood if they really wanted to. The question, more likely, will be Does Eastwood wanna play second fiddle to Indiana Jones?

Um ehrlich zu sein weiß GreekGeek nicht so richtig was er mit diesem Gerücht, dass seit ein paar Tagen im Netz herumschwirrt, anfangen soll:
es kann sein, dass die Story des vierten Films etwas mit der Bundeslade aus RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK zu tun haben soll...
Diese Gerüchte entstehen dadurch, dass Karen Allen als Marion Ravewood mitspielt und dass John Hurt (Gerüchten zufolge) ihren, im ersten Film für tot gehaltenen Vater Abner Ravenwood spielen soll, der besessen von Thema Bundeslade war.
Laut diesen Gerüchten ist das Lager aus dem Ende von RAIDERS das spätere "Area 51" Gebäude, in dem die Russen jetzt versuchen die Bundeslade in ihre Hände zu bekommen um das US-Militär damit zu bezwingen.
Dies würde die Indy-Reihe natürlich sehr gut abschließen!!!
GreekGeek findet die Idee sehr interessant, geht aber davon aus, dass es vielleicht ein Nebenhandlung ist. Dass Jones auf der Suche nach was anderem ist und dabei auf dieses "Schätzchen" aus der Vergangenheit trifft! Eigentlich hatte ich (als ich klein war) mir immer ausgemalt wie es wohl wäre wenn solche, in sich abgeschlossenen Geschichten, weiter geführt werden könnte. Also so etwas in der Art von RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK II, oder so etwas wie zum Beispiel GOLDFINGER II: RETURN OF THE FINGER, oder so (das Interessante hierbei: DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER war als Fortsetzung von GOLDFINGER angedacht, aber dass ist eine andere Geschichte...)
Wie auch immer, nach den ersten nun bewegten Bildern bin ich mehr als zuversichtlich (nicht, dass es vorher nicht so war), dass uns nächsten Mai, ein riesiges Abenteuer erwartet!!!www.greekgeek.de
