Meine Name ist Patrick und ich komme aus der Schweiz. Ich habe seit ca. 4 Jahren zwei "goldige" Russisch Blau Katzen.
Per Zufall bin ich im www auf dieses Forum gelangt, und habe mich riesig gefreut, dass es ein spezielles Russisch Blau Forum gibt. Nun ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob mir hier jemand helfen kann. Zu meinem (kleinen) Problem: Meine beiden Katzen haaren ziemlich fest und dass das ganze Jahr über. Das hat ca. vor zwei Jahren angefangen. Es sind beide Wohnungskatzen. Auch habe ich bei meinem Tierarzt angefragt, und er meinte dies sei ganz normal. Ich weiss nun nicht, ob ich etwas beim Futter oder so falsch mache. Ich bürste meine Katzen nur sehr selten. Die Züchterin damals sagte, dass auch die Russisch Blau Katze Haare verlieren würde, was für mich dazumals selbstverständlich war. Heute nur ist es so, dass sobald die Katzen zbs. auf dem Sofa liegen, dies danach voller Haare ist. Zum Futter: Sie kriegen Nass (Premium Futter, weil sie das so lieben ), sowie Trockenfutter und gelegentlich Malzpaste (was sie natürlich auch lieben).
Vielleicht kann mir jemand dazu etwas sagen bzw. einen Rat geben.

Zu dem Problem kann ich nur sagen, so kenne ich das nicht. Meine Russen haben ganz normal zweimal im Jahr Fellwechsel und der fällt im Gegensatz zu meinen anderen Katzen sehr moderat aus. Sollten Deine Katzen aber ein gepflegtes, seidiges Fell haben - denke ich das Du Dir keine Gedanken machen musst. Sind sie struppig, dann ist etwas nicht in Ordnung und Du solltest weiterforschen.

also wir haben das auch. Ich denk mir mal es liegt am verrückten Wetter. Mal 30 Grad im Schatten, 2 Tage später kannst du fast den Wintermantel rausholen.
Allerdings extremes abhaaren, kann sowohl ein gesundheitliches als auch ein Fütterungsproblem sein.
Unser Basko hatte das mal vom Nassfutter., Der TA gab mir Biotin mit. Kannste unbedenklich geben und gibt es im Drogeriemarkt sehr günstig. Bei meinem Puschpusch hat es geholfen.
Mein Gott schreiben mit einer Hand (auf der anderen schläft gerade Uzuri) ist gar nicht so einfach...

bei uns ist es bei den erwachsenen Katern augenblicklich auch recht haarig. Vor allem der Kater, er hat extremes plüschiges Fell. Wir haben wieder angefangen pro Kilo Fleisch (ich barfe) den Inhalt einer Kapsel Nachtkerzenöl + 2 Kapseln Lachsöl ins Futter zu mischen. Das macht man normalerweise als Kur so ca. 6 - 12 Wochen während des Fellwechsels. Das kurbelt den Haarausfall nochmals richtig an und die neuen Haare können schneller nachwachsen.
Ich habe das Gefühl, dass Grischa nicht mit dem Fellwechsel fertig wird. Das Problem liegt übrigens nicht am Futter. Ich war gestern bei einer Züchterkollegin, welche ein völlig anderes Futterkonzept verfolgt, und deren Russen haaren aktuell auch recht stark.
