Dann wird dich sicher freuen, was ich vorhin zufällig entdeckt habe: Es gibt einen 2. Teil von dem Ding! Diesmal dabei: „Celtic raiders“ statt „Viking mercenaries“. Im Jahre 1220 oder so.

Pendragon ist total a! Nur die betreffende Literatur des 11./12. Jhds, die kriegt einiges durcheinander … (Und vorher auch … und nachher erst recht … und ganz vorher gibt’s ne Weile überhaupt keine Literatur, weil Sachsen … ach, vergessen wir’s.)

Eigentlich ist dieser Historiker, dieser Geoffrey von Monmouth an allem schuld. Ein seltener Lügenbeutel vor dem Herrn, aber wirklich jetzt. Der Begriff „Mythomane“ wurde eigens für den erfunden [citation needed].

Malory kommt ja über 300 Jahre später.
