Earlier this year, the super-talented Joshua James called me up asking for some help designing the booklet for his upcoming album, Build Me This. The booklet was based on an old publication from the late 1800s and would be very typographic-driven. Right up my alley, right? So I gladly accepted. Naturally the project soon ballooned and we ended up (re)doing all the packaging, labels, and the booklet...

ist ja echt sehr liebevoll gestaltet, das Booklet, wie ein kleines Büchle oder Drehbuch mit Kapiteln und am Ende dem Cast mit den 'Hauptakteuren' :D

Die folgenden Worte scheinen ihm sehr viel zu bedeuten

ist 2x abgedruckt: einmal aufm Pappschuber und auch im Booklet
wollts verstehen, klappt aber nicht soo richtig ;p
klingt so bissl philosophisch

Verrotte, wenn da Fäule ist, oder sagt man,

Es scheint, als würde der Baum sterben.
Eine verkrüppelte Pest bestimmt die Gefangenschaft.
Aber leider hat mich mein Vater immer gelehrt,
alles wiederaufzubauen.
Aber ich habe Schönheit im Zerfall,
Trost im Schmutz,
Farbe in seinen Bruchstücken gefunden.
Und dieses..
dieses ist ein Meer der Korrosion
Jetzt kann mit Grund gesagt werden,
errichte mich vom Innern dieser Niedertracht
und darin wirst du Hoffnung finden
