The Acorn The Acorn ist eine musikalisches Projekt aus Ottawa, Kanada von Rolf Klauseren. Das Projekt begann mit elektro-akustischen Soloarbeiten Ende 2002 von Rolf. Daraufhin versammelte er Musiker um sich und gründete The Arcon, die 2004 mit The Pink Ghosts debütierten. Es war ein hauptsächlich instrumentelles Tribut an ihre Heimat Ottawa, die ihnen regional Beachtung brachte. Ein Jahr später veröffentlichten sie die Blankets!
